tiny map of tasmaniaTasmania is the large island south of Australia. It is 68,000 square kilometres and about 300 kilometres long. It has a European climate and is 70% forest covered. These forests contain some of the most pristine, temperate rain forests in the World. In Tasmania you can see natural wonders, plus the convict heritage of Australia, like in no other place. This is why over one million tourists visit it every year.On the left of each page is a blue index column of all the places in Tasmania that we have visited and photographed. The top menu bar takes you to the following pages:

road map iconREGIONS on the top menu bar takes you to the submenus of the eleven different regions, where the attractions are. Each region has a green road map of the area, plus a number of place pages. Click on the name on the road map to go straight to that place's photo gallery and information page. These photo information pages tell you what you can see. At the bottom of each page is a photo gallery. You do need to learn some important things about Tasmania before you visit, so start by seeing my pages called START and DRIVING.
